We start processing orders the same day they come in, so changes aren't always possible. If you need to modify or cancel, email us at hello@coldgearcus.com or DM us on Instagram as soon as you can. If we haven't started pouring yet, we'll do our best.

At the time you place the order. Because every lamp is made to order, we can't hold your card and charge later.

Yes. Leave a note at checkout, or email us within a few hours of ordering. Small touches like a name on the plaque or a color preference within the same design are usually free. Larger changes may bump the price or timeline — we'll let you know before charging anything extra.

Every coldgearcus lamp is handmade to order in our US studio. Production takes 5 to 10 business days for standard designs, and 3 to 4 weeks for custom orders. Domestic US shipping takes 3 to 7 business days once shipped. International shipping takes 10 to 20 business days. The estimated ship date on each product page is the date the lamp leaves the studio, not the date it lands on your doorstep.

Yes. We ship to most countries via USPS International, DHL, and FedEx depending on destination. Rates and options are calculated at checkout.

The moment your lamp leaves the bench, we email you a tracking link. If you can't find the email, check spam or write to hello@coldgearcus.com with your order number and we'll resend.

We don't guarantee it, but many US orders arrive on Saturdays through USPS. Sundays are rare.

Weather, holidays, and carrier delays happen. If your package is more than 3 business days past the estimated delivery window, email hello@coldgearcus.com with your order number and we'll open a carrier investigation right away.

Send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll replace it. No paperwork, no fight. Every lamp is packed like fine china, but the mail can be rough — we're built to handle it.

What is your return policy?
Because every lamp is made specifically for the customer who ordered it, we don't accept generic returns or exchanges. However, if your lamp arrives damaged or defective, we'll replace it for free. If your custom order doesn't match what we agreed on, we'll remake it for free. If your standard-catalog lamp arrives and just isn't your taste, email us within 7 days and we'll work something out case by case. We'd rather solve a problem than keep your money.

For US customers: no. Everything ships from within the US. For international customers: yes, your country may charge import duties, taxes, or tariffs on arrival. These are your responsibility. If a package is returned to us because duties weren't paid, we're unable to refund the original order.

Every lamp includes a USB-C cable and a 5V power adapter. Plug into any standard US outlet, USB hub, laptop, or portable battery. No batteries required.

All our lamps come with a warm-white 2700K LED that dims from a soft nightlight glow all the way to full brightness via an in-line dimmer on the cord. Color-changing RGB versions are available on select designs — check the product page.

Rated for 50,000+ hours of use. If yours ever fails within the first year, we replace the module for free. After that, we'll ship a replacement LED at cost, never the whole lamp.

Yes. The resin is fully cured and food-safe grade. LED runs cool to the touch. USB-C means no wall voltage near the lamp itself. That said, resin lamps are still weight-bearing sculptural pieces — we don't recommend letting toddlers climb on them.

Soft dry cloth or microfiber, always. Never window cleaner, alcohol, or abrasive sponges — they can dull the resin surface over years.

We use UV-stabilized deep-pour epoxy specifically to prevent this. Kept out of direct all-day sunlight, your lamp should stay clear for 5+ years easily. In direct sun, cheaper resins yellow in months — ours doesn't, but we still recommend keeping it out of a south-facing window.

Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm US Central Time for emails and DMs. The bench pours 6 days a week — we're just not answering messages on Saturdays.

Our studio is based in the United States. We don't have a public storefront — everything is made to order and shipped directly from the bench.
